Staff Reporter: Austria is going to lockdown again from Monday (November 22) due to the fragile situation in Corona.
Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schellenberg made the announcement at a news conference on Friday (November 19th).
He said the lockdown would be effective for 20 days. However, this decision will be reviewed after ten days. We don’t want the fifth wave.
The Austrian chancellor said that corona vaccination would be made compulsory in Austria from February 1.
"We are not taking this step lightly, but unfortunately it is necessary," the chancellor said.
