The Prime Minister made this call in a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Hotel Bayerischer Hof on Saturday (February 17) on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024.

During his talks with Zelensky today, he repeatedly discussed how to stop the Russia-Ukraine war. In the meeting, they also discussed how to stop attacks on innocent men and women in Gaza.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister reminded everyone that war cannot bring prosperity to anyone. In this context, the Prime Minister recalled the sufferings of the people of Bangladesh during the Liberation War in 1971 and the sufferings that he himself had suffered.

Dr. Hashan Mahmud said that in the discussion between the Prime Minister and Zelensky, Bangladesh's foreign policy: 'friendship with all, enmity with no one' clearly emerged.

The foreign minister said that the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Russia will not be damaged. Our relations with Russia are very good. Russia stood by us during the liberation war and played a leading role in the reconstruction of Bangladesh after the war. They only negotiated for the cessation of war.
