Several bridges have been destroyed in the floods, and several cities have been covered by mud. Communications have been cut off in many places with water, electricity and food shortages. Many residents said that more lives could have been saved if local authorities had warned of the risk of flooding sooner.

Although the terrible weather has passed in Valencia and the Mediterranean coast, there is still a warning signal for the southern part of Spain. More heavy rain is possible there. Among them is the Huelva region, which has been hit by heavy rain. The rain that fell in just 10 hours in the city of Cartaya is equivalent to two months of rain there.
