Helicopter crashes in Mexico, 3 killed

International Desk: A Navy helicopter crashed in Mexico, killing 3 people. 2 more people are missing.

The Ministry of Shipping of the country has informed this information.

The accident happened Wednesday (March 6) 370 kilometers southwest of the port of Lazaro Cardenas in western Michoacán state. Reuters news.

The Mexican Navy said in a statement that one of its warships stationed in the Pacific Ocean crashed shortly after takeoff from the flight deck. However, it is not yet known what caused the helicopter to crash.

There were eight naval personnel on that plane. 3 of them were rescued alive. Their physical condition is stable.

A statement said that three people were killed in the helicopter crash. Besides, two others are missing. A search operation has begun.
