He breathed his last around 6:30 pm while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the capital Dhaka, his personal assistant Raju Mia said the media.
His first namaz-e-janaza will be held in Baridhara and the second one at Supreme Court premises.

Barrister Mainul left behind two sons, a daughter, relatives, and many others to mourn his death.
