5 People Executed for Involvement in the killing of Bangladeshis

International Desk: 5 Pakistani citizens have been executed for killing a Bangladeshi in Saudi Arabia. These Pakistanis attacked a private institution.

On Wednesday (March 6), the Middle East-based media Gulf News reported in a report that the accused Pakistanis attacked the institution and tied up 2 guards, including a Bangladeshi. The Bangladeshi individual passed away as a result of torture.

After the investigation, the case was sent to the learned court. The court found the murders to be true and sentenced them to death. Which was later upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. A royal decree was then issued imposing the death penalty.

After all the formalities, the accused were executed by beheading in the holy city of Mecca last Tuesday.

Incidentally, in Saudi Arabia, people involved in murder, terrorist attacks and drug smuggling carry the maximum penalty of death.

Last January, Saudi authorities announced that four Ethiopians had been executed for the murder of a Sudanese citizen.
